Still better than every green standard trash you get in PvE zones, which is, unfortunately, the best that drops there..^^
But I completely agree nevertheless.. these traits, on these items? Seriously?? Most of the traits are useless from the beginning anyways, and training is just an "ok, why not"-thing in the low level zones. It's not just ridiculous to see these kind of traits on Vet rank items (especially endgame gear), but they make the item completely useless.

Well I guess if you never used a destro stave before might be useful other then that I would decon it. I do use the training trait when I have one piece of armor type while building but once I hit 50 in the skill there is definitely more useful options.

Not to derail the thread with a serious newb question, but if you have say a flame enchantment on a flame staff, does that actually increase the flame damage or is it just redundant? I always chuckle when I get an Ice Staff of Ice or something.

That staff does look useful for bonking people on the head, though.

That staff does look useful for bonking people on the head, though.

It a separate damage proc with an internal cool down.

I've still got a bunch of maces of will power with lame traits that I just can't unload on the guild store. Guess I'll just deconstuct them.

I do wonder why you would have staves drop for the agility line? Swords of will power sure, but who would use a staff of agility? Or am I missing something?

Training isn't necessarily useless at higher levels if you're looking to start up a new skill tree that you haven't used in the past. I'm not VR 16 though so I can't comment on exactly how OP this is. Seems like a pretty healthy chunk of damage but how crazy is it for a VR16 character?

I actually got this same drop!
I tried to sell it for 100k in Rawl... there were no takers... they were probably not ready for the power... its a lot to handle.

Needless to say I now keep it safely locked away and out of the wrong hands.
