Playing on PC AND PS4

So on another mmo I can login from my PC, play some, then login on my ps4 to the same character. I've had a sub for ESO since launch. I played PC version until recently when I purchased my ps4. Seeing the capabilities of the other mmo I mentioned, I bought the ps4 version thinking that I would be able to do the same thing. It seems I made a mistake. I just found out that the PC servers are different than ps4 servers so Zenimax doesn't have the same capabilities as the other mmo I mentioned. I have multiple veteran level characters, so I'm not in the mood to reroll toons just to play on ps4, nor do I want to pay for the ps4 eso plus when I already pay my sub for PC. Does anyone know if they will remedy this problem soon, or should I get a refund on the ps4 version I feel like I just wasted money on?

P.s. Yes I know there are other threads on this but I wanted to post another one to help make the problem more visible.

Well ZOS doesn't see it as a problem to be remedied unfortunately. They view the console version as a wholey exclusive experience and is designed around it (utter bullock imo) .

I was swooned in to purchasing a ps4 and the game to play with some friends who know next to nothing about pc gaming and mmos in general and I have my regrets.

If you are playing alone with no social ties to the ps4 version and a refund is an option, I would strongly suggest doing so.

The console version is grossly inferior and the type of gamers that populate thr console version are of an entirely different breed.

They wanted them to be like that but ran into some issues negotiating with Sony and Microsoft, so they're all separate now.
Also, you may want to research before putting no miney into things, they mentioned they were separate quite a few times before launch. A quick Google search could have saved you money.
