Healing is becoming an annoying pain in the *** for PVP!

No I am not talking about all the healing changes (IE healing reduction) but rather constantly being stuck in combat because of my heals. This happens all the time from small 2 or 3 man battles to large scale sieges. If I throw one heal out then I get stuck in combat for the next couple of minutes and while everyone else is heading off on their mounts I am stuck trying to keep up to them using the two feet I created at the start of the game! It is possible to be stuck having to run around for most of the night depending how often you need to heal, which can be a lot most nights! I do however get a chuckle out of it sometimes as I can see who the all the healers are ... we are the ones left running after the all the horses, cats and ugly two legged monsters!!

Try switching to a Different provider. The Templars union had many different health care plans to fit your budget and your needs.

Busy Schedule. Cannot take time to wait for self heals to quit. Then a Templar Health care plan is for you!!

Plans available at any guild Kiosk.

100 Percent discount if you bring Yarn.

loll, unfortunately my current ESO HMO plan allows group heals only... wait this actually makes me the doctor in this case.. damn I am getting screwed all over the place!!

Oh and no yarn but I did have some silly putty laying around some place!!

This is the main when I ragequit PvP haha.

You would think it's getting lagged over by 50+ Steel Tornado's, but it's the stuck in combat bug.

Eventually I just cant take the slow walking miles behind everyone any more, I explode, curse, leave group and shut down the client.

Magicka templars having 0 mobility makes it even more frustrating.

Just saying, if you want to keep those healers in your group, dont ride away from them. Give them a private Rapid buff bot and make sure they're safe from all enemies in the back picking on lonely healers.

I doubt ZoS is ever going to fix this *** seriously, been going on for over a year.

This is a HUGE annoyance and "delays progress" for the healer.

    AND

Yes it has been in the game since beta for PvP. The amount of time it takes even non-healing players to get out of combat is frustrating in PvP then multiply that by 200 and that is for healers.... sometimes it triggers even when you are healing and no one is actually in combat (I think this triggers due to someone in your raid in combat that isn't near you).

I'm assuming the bold part refers to the humanoids? My majestic Gaur gracefully struts his way across the battlefield.

To your gripe with the stuck in combat feature, Zenimax is unable to improve this aspect of game play design, and it will be in the game for its duration.

Comba should be as follow :
    - If you light/heavy attack, bash, use/trigger a harmful skill (only first tic of dots are concerned), both you and the target(s) enter combat for 30 seconds.
    - if you heal someone, you get the target combat timer if it's higher than yours.

This should avoid healers being stucked in combat for healing each other despite the fight is finished for long.

I am a magicka templar and I fully agree.. I have been ganked quite a few times because I can't keep up with our group, especially going from resource to resource around the keep.

That would be the easy and short answer but I really like healing in general.... oh and I have on occasion just said F**k it and DPS'd untill I needed a heal but what I would really like to see is for ZOS to fix this.

Lol, ohh yes I would never dream of shaming or name calling the majestic beast known as a Guar.... although you got to admit that watching a Dark Elf ride an Orc into battle is pretty ugly, funny but still ugly!!

So the solution is to die?

Because half the time you're just healing yourself really. But most heals in this game are smart heals with multiple targets, so they end up on nearby allies, including Vigor, all resto staffs skills, all templar heals and the worse, Funnel Health(use this to dps as NB and you can kiss that mount goodbye).

DoT's are another culprit and especially Caltrops stucks you in combat mode.

But avoiding any form of smart heals when taking resources(usually dont need anyway) does help, so sarcasm or not, you have a point. To bad we cant just stop healing when fighting over a keep ^^

The problem is actually you healing people who are bugged. There are a few skills (Rally from the 2H line is a major culprit) that bug out and leave the person stuck in combat. You heal them, they stay in combat forever, now you stay in combat forever. ZOS really need to fix the bug with Rally. That should alleviate the healer's issues, as well, since they will not be healing bugged players that are stuck in combat.

    Beware! Don't die!

If you die "in combat" and respawn, you will be left "in combat", unable to mount up or to transit to another keep. The 30 or more seconds staying "in combat" will last for your pleasure. >:)
