Buying a mount from the crown store

2 questions:
1) if I buy a horse from the crown store, once I select it from the collections in the menu, do the riding skills all reset at 0 or do they stay the same? For example, if I have 30 points in speed on my current horse, once I pay a new mount, will it also have 30 speed or do I need to spend in-game currency to build it up too?
2) is there any advantage to buying a mount from the crown store, i.e starts off with a boost in one of the skills?

Cillion3117✭✭✭✭✭Riding skills are per character, not mounts. You can change your mount without losing any skills.0 -

✭✭As Cillion said, the 30 points in speed you have are for you, your character, not the mount. There is no benefit from buying mounts from the crown store, other than they are exclusive, you cannot buy them in game, they look different, and may only be available for a short time
