What stamina class should I level?

I already have a Stam dk but I don't like him. I will most likely be doing pvp and pvp equally. Also, I FAR prefer 2h over DW. But I'll use DW in pvp if I have to at endgame.

mmmm I hate how balance in this game dictates so much. It would be nice to play what I would like but classes/builds get nerfed/buffed so much there is never a balance >.<

Unfortunately there is no endgame so that's a lost goal. Also if you want to run 2h then run 2h, no reason to switch if you don't want to.

well by endgame I meant trials/pvp content. I wish 2h had an AoE that could compare to steel tornado but I mean biting jabs (or whatever the Stam morph is ) might be able to compare. Even though it's not really AoE

Biting Jabs is the Stam morph lol but yeah an AoE might be nice but in the meantime there is Cleave and Reverse Slice if you want to look at only the 2h skills.

Honestly, when I completely reset my char today to try to do a survival build for pvp, staminal does seem to be nerf-ed. Naked with no buffs, putting 10 points into magic for my vr 10dark elf NB gives me more amount for magic than putting 30 for stamina amount.

Has it always been that way? Last time I deliberately reset my attributes was when I was like lv 20.

i've been building a templar for PvP shock attacking that goes dark flare -> critical rush -> biting jabs etc. and it's very pleasant

Don't forget you'll have passives to increase magicka which increase the amount you get from every attribute point.

Anyways stamina will always hit harder, first off even though magicka can get nearly as high spell damage + a large magicka pool, the equivalent stamina skill hits harder.

Take for instance biting jabs vs puncturing sweeps, magicka vs stamina build stam will have a 14-1500 tooltip value per hit, where as magicka version will have 1000-1100.

Then add in that in pve and pvp enemies always have a significantly higher spell resistance than physical resistance. Thanks to passives in skill trees, like templars that give several thousand spell resistsnce. It's far more common to have hit spell resist cap way before physical resist cap .also melee users can stack up penetration easier.

Then finally, add in champion points, there's multiple stars that reduce magic damage, but none for physical damage, and as a stam user you'll be putting points into mighty first to get more damsge, but magicka users have to put points into the apprentice star to get their crit chance buff, then move over to the ritual.

I have v10 DK, v16 NB and Templar and I think the Sorc (v5 right now) has been the most fun. Of course I had a bunch of champ points to throw into the Sorc that were not there for the others, but still having a lot of fun with this build.

Forget ablut all the "effective this, min/max that" - the game is supposed to be -fun- not a death struggle for that last percentage point...

Wrong, I am a StamBlade and I can assure you, myself and my ilk do not have infinite cloak, reason being, we are full stamina builds, so can only cast cloak 2/3 times and thats it, our magicka pool is gone.
