The Ten Rules of PvP

1. Anyone not in your group is a pug, no matter if the other group is obviously more competent than you, they are the pugs you are the main force.
2. Your guild is the best guild in your faction.
3. If your guild mate is not number 1 on the leaderboard, you will not help push for emp for any reason.
4. 60 players killing 7 repawning players in a resource tower is legitimate AP farming.
5. If you die, it is an affront to your honor, no one could ever kill you, the most skilled player in the game. They must be hacking.
6. No one uses Teamspeak, that is only for plebs that want to make fart jokes.
7. The best strategy for taking down a wall quickly is a single fire ballista with 19 nightblades standing guard around it.
8. The Elder Scrolls actually mean something.
9. Alliance war rank past 24 actually means something
10. Former emperor actually means something.

Honorable mention five guidelines.

1. Single target nightblade and sorc builds with maximum DPS are the most useful PvP templates, AoE and group skills are children's toys.
2. Any number of players above the size of your group (or more than 2 if youre solo which you probably are) is a Zerg.
3. You would always beat that guy 1v1. Clearly he sucks.
4. The scoreboard matters.
5. There are no trolls in zone chat.

I can't tell you how many times I have /yelled 'last time i recalled, coming to siege a keep meant SIEGING' and they actually produced siege from their little backpacks and helped out. IDK maybe they like to watch for awhile as one person sieges?

Often I wonder why they just don't dump out some siege right away as they see others doing the same. Siege is cheap, and I make sure to try and run 2 at a time and leave space for others, sometimes even put it down for them. I feel like at times they need a bit of prodding to do it, even if I am not the most lady-like at it.

Don't even get me started on the sailor mouth I get when 20 EP sits on the walls of a keep that isn't yet under attack, spitting their little plinky bows and ice staffs at the enemy. Walls are all 100%, PUSH THE EFF OUT YOU PANSIES. It can take 3-4 EP diving off the wall to lead the lemmings though.

Crown

I used to give this speech when new people joined the guild. People got upset a bit too often..

1. I am the leader thy Crown, and thou shalt have no other crown before me.
2. Honour thy Crown and obey his commands.
3. Thou shalt do what they Crown tells thee, when thou art told to do it, and in the manner that thou art told.
4. Thou shalt always have a minimum of 10 stone trebs, 6 meatbags, 6 oil, 2 rams, and one stack each of wall and stone repair kits on thee at all times.
5. Thou shalt always have a minimum of two stacks of tri-pots, immovable/detect pots, and cheap pots on thee at all times.
6. Though shalt share with thine scrub brothers and sisters who have forgotten the above listed inventories, and thou shalt call them out for being scrubs in guild chat.
7. When siege is called for, thou shalt drop at minimum two of the kind being used. Shouldst thou drop three and manage them well, though shalt be considered an elite siege meister. If thou doth not drop siege as thou art purging or healing thy brothers and sisters who are incapable of avoiding counter siege, thou shalt have siege repair kits and use them in between purging and healing.
8. Thou shalt cast thine proxies when commanded by thy Crown, and not an instant before.
Shouldst thou reveal us by miscasting while we are in stealth, though shalt be compared to the dung of a donkey.
9. Thou shalt have a min/maxed build for performing as well as possible in the PvPs. Shouldt thou deviate from the min/maxed build, thou shalt justify thy actions and either educate thy brothers and sisters on thy genius theory crafting or be ridiculed and revert to the min/maxed build that was developed for thee.
10. When the @Zavus has been killed, thou shalt teabag him until such time as he revives in another place or thou hast been otherwise commanded by thy Crown.

Obey these commandments and thou shalt make the points. Deviate in the slightest from these commandments, and thou shalt be kicked from Crown's group forthright.

Another rule worth remembering: It's always the enemies fault when the game is lagging. Report them or at least flame them in whispers. They're using lag switch or lagspoit, ruining the game for you and your little team of 80+ allies trying to take a keep

Quietus's strategy.

Quietus clan are sissy. Single one out (especially the sorc) and he is huddled up in a ball on the defensive. Then two or three of his buddies pop out of stealth or arrive and they all jump you.

If you siege, make sure you attack at least two different walls.

When moving in stealth as a group make sure to keep casting stuff to scare them away.

When you arrive and people are sieging already, make sure to use other people's siege to target people on the wall or keep's corners instead of sieging the wall itself.

I still don't understand why people think this is okay. It's not like you can't buff up in the 5second or so run up to the enemy.

If your raid sees two or more players together, make sure you have everyone go into stealth.

Every templar in your raid should be opening from stealth with the full fury of their Jesus Beams.

I´m feeling underappriciated with my (mostly) single target sorc build. I get people mad enough to chase me with 20 man grps. That´s something!

There is a corrollary to #3.

If your guild-mate isn't number 1, but one of the top 5. Then use your whole zerg guild to take random keeps and let your guildie spam healing springs and repair all the walls farming to #1 at which point you start pushing for emperor.

After having broken a hole in the inner wall make sure you all enter individually and go straight for the flags. Clearing out upstairs is always a waste of time.
