I like how you assume that people who are excited for more single player content aren't mmo players. I've been playing mmos for over ten years not an I couldn't be happier that there is more solo content coming. Just because it doesn't have stuff that caters to you doesn't mean it is an "empty dlc", saying that is just childish.Dylanlucas wrote: »RDMyers65b14_ESO wrote: »Dylanlucas wrote: »Were are the new groupdungeons? A solo arena not even the option to do a groupversion?
Somebody said it and yes it's an EMPTY DLC!
And for those solo players out there, go and play Skyrim or maybe Fallout 4 is for you.
The game on the PS4 is already dying a slow death with IC update aka Grind City.
Remember a MMO is all about groupplay.....
You need to remember that the majority of the players here are here because of the game being TES, not because of they are MMO fans. For many, myself included, this is the first and only MMO we've played.
Then let them make a new single player game for those players, as long as they are putting it out there as a MMO the social and groupplay aspect are the most important.Yeah, no. An mmo isn't just about group play. Mmos all offer some form of solo play and it has been that way for years now.Dylanlucas wrote: »Were are the new groupdungeons? Only 2 new public dungeons? See the answer above.
Like i said, the Skyrim fanboys will get some nice content whilst the MMO players will get *** all.........
-Craglorn offered PvE group content
-IC offered PvP and PvE group content
-Orsinium is offering solo PvE content
From what I know, Murkmire is going to be similar to Craglorn as far as the type of content it will have so wait for that.
Only concern is that I can't keep dropping $20 for these little DLCs that honestly shouldn't be $20 in the first place. It's cool content, but not half a game's price of cool.
Also, making it 2500 crowns when there's only a 750, 1500, and 3000 crown option... that's a *** move.
Isn't orsinium 3000 crowns for the standard and 5000 for the collector thingy edition? So you got what you wanted, you now gotta pay full 25$ for the DLC and won't have to spend 500 crowns on something else.
On topic: I hate it!
- Nothing for PvP players (yes, I know Orsinium is a PvE DLC but IC was announced as a PvP DLC which it simply isn't so I still had some hope)
- The new way to spend AP on is nothing but a huge "F*** y** - no new gear for you!" for us PvP players
- Probably tons of new super-sets you gotta grind in mindless PvE until you finally get that RNg for the desired Heavy Armor well-fitted item you want...

Please continue to enjoy your zergfest known as Imperial City DLC. We PvE'ers had to wait while PvP'ers were appeased.
Please go gank someone and let others have a go.

I'm always excited to have more things/areas to do and explore.
Quite frankly , 3000 crowns plus the 2500 for IC is ridiculous.
For 20 hours of additional gameplay, the price is just too steep. But, that's what they charge, and that's what I'm going to have to pay, lol

Was there an option to do Dragonstar Arena solo? Well, same answer.Dylanlucas wrote: »A solo arena not even the option to do a groupversion?
I'll send a memo to all the solo players in other MMO's.Dylanlucas wrote: »Remember a MMO is all about groupplay.....

I am impressed with the content on offer though, so I will definitely pick this up. I'm one of those rare people that likes solo, pve group and pvp styles depending on my mood that day.
I'm easily pleased :-)

How were the PvPers appeased? All the PvErs did was get bigger groups and ruined it for everyone else.

As long as they're not making a new trial with Orsinium, I don't see why they couldn't up the existing trials to v16. No point in alienating even more people after the IC release... Especially when Orsinium will have to compete with Fallout 4's release...
