Guild Traders Suck

Here we go again, another whining topic about guild traders.

It is true though, they suck. I've spent WAY too much gold on just listing items that don't even sell, and I'm talking about 50+ Veteran 16 epic armor, weapons and accessories like rings and necklaces. I even put them up for a relatively cheap price compared to the other sales in the guild store.

I tried selling Light, Heavy and Medium sets of the Pact's armor from Cyrodiil (blue quality) once, for like 2k each piece (very cheap imo) and they expired after 30 days of being in there, even while my guild had a trader in the main market of Deshaan! so I just ended up deconstructing them all.

I hate guild stores. They're a useless, robbing, inconvenient feature. That is all.

My constructive feedback would be... give a Grand Exchange/Auction Horse or something else maybe, someday, even if it's next year when we're all homeless on the streets of Mournhold due to listing fee's.

It doesn't help that prices are not currently displayed. I for one am not going to waste my time searching through the clunky interfaces, and then have to click on every item that I'm interested in, just to see the price.

Hi there. One of the countless people that have run threads about guild traders and trading guilds before here. They don't care. They won't change it. About forty percent of us dislike the current system. Significant number, but not enough for them to care.

Doesn't surprise me to be honest... I made this topic in the heat of the moment of expressing my frustration with it but yes, not expecting to get anywhere with sharing this anyway...

So what about the sixty percent that do like it? That's a pretty significant number right? Enough for them to care and leave it, you know, because it's part of this game. Why do they have to change a system unique to their game for a minority who don't care for it?

The Guild Traders aren't that bad. But they should improve how we can communicate with them.

I'm more sick of new guilds having a trader in a prime location and have 6 jute and a 2 clear water listed for 30k as the only item on the entire trader... its like seriously did you bid 100k+ or out bid my guild to sell this crap

Summary: I am too much of an idiot to sell stuff properly and understand what items are garbage. Trader system sucks.

Ahem,
I'm not sure if you've heard about this game called Diablo 3, but it had this so called global auction house you're talking of. It kind of ruined the integrity of the RPG. Go get the gear yourselves you lazy bones.
Having localized guild trader is not only 100x more bad ass, but it maintains a healthier in-game economy.

I've sold stuff properly before. It still doesn't change the fact that guild traders suck.
