When a bow just isn't enough!

Had a few technical issues with the game last night, mostly my character decided that the bow I made her was not good enough and refused to use it, instead turned the sword into a bow? that and when sometimes in a fight my character would go onto slow motion action, I think it was a drama thing??? is this a lag thing or something else?

That is pretty funny (or rather, tragicomical)

I use bows, but haven't experienced this (yet). But if it keeps happening, I would make a bug report.

It's just the weapon swap animation lagging, happens a lot. Oddly enough every mmo I've played that has weapon swapping in has had exactly the same issue, must be something that's hard to code.

this went on for about an hour, I would swap to the sword and everything was OK swap back to bow and for some reason she refused to use the bow maybe it didn't match her outfit????

Same thing has happened to me when my fire staff had the animation of a 1H sword.
Nothing I'd make a thread about tho.

I had this happen once many months ago in a group dungeon where my staff looked suspiciously like a sword (that I was holding by the blade, naturally). The funny thing was that it only looked that way to me - the other folks I was grouped with saw the staff. Heck, one of the people in the group was streaming at the time, and on her stream I could see my staff just fine, but on my screen, not so much...

Just to clear things up, this was not a complaint post, just wondering if my fellow gamers have had similar funny issues? although last night I did kind of get frustrated by having to kill a world boss three times before it counted? I wonder if I was whacking him with my bow instead of my sword?
