Possible bug with Tel Var Stones after being killed (while carrying none)

A hour or so back I was venturing around the IC sewers. Twice ganked by opposing players. Was not carrying any tel var stones either time. First death recap said -6 tel var stones, second recap -2 tel var stones. Went to my bank after releasing, my tel var stones had dropped from just over 4k to under 4k. Should players be losing stones they're not carrying?

Figured this was supposed to be the case. unable to replicate again from the bank side, although I have had -6 stones show on the death recap when carrying none. Weird things are happening for me in IC. Fell through the map the same day, still gained tv stones even though I was not in battle (in a group), same with alliance points. Using two staffs, one imperial style, one not. Yet both show as imperial style. The non imperial one had no lightening animation.Your immersion is breaking my entitlement. Buff Sorc's.
