bored of stamina NB, respeccing as tank. help with this would be much appreciated :)

Hello folks, as the title says, I got pretty bored with playing a stamina NB DPS. I kinda felt sorry for my character since i lvled it up to vr16 and it would be a waste to park her away as a crafter. I have been tanking in all the previous mmos i played and ESO actually is the first MMO where i have focussed on a DPS class.
I already picked the skills i want to use, though what i'm struggling with, are the attribute points and the choice of gear. I feel like i have to make a hybrid to be a succesful tank.
How much stam and magicka should i have aside from the huge healthpool that i will most likely need?
How much regen of each stat do I need? What sets are recommended? Currently have my eye on histbark and footman's as they "seem" to be the best to run with.
I've been reading about people saying that footman's is only the go to set for tanks because there aren't any decent tanking jewelry sets available atm.
Also, should I be running in 7 heavy or 5 heavy and 2 light or medium?
