After watching some old movies i made i feel so sad a playstyle has been ripped apart so badly, Running into large groups and making them scared to attack was an amazing feeling when playing. Now Templars have Blazing shield and with 25k life you get a 4k shield dealing no damage at all. I don't care how OP or underpowered Templar is at the moment, The bombing was a playstyle and now we are left with yet another useless Templar skill.

I would trade Jesus beam for 1.5 blazing shield in a heartbeat. Of all the arguably OP things in the game blazing shield wasn't that bad, it was a really fun gameplay style and was easy to counter if you know what you were doing and bursted the templar down at range.

Sounds too complicated, very unreasonable to ask a player to use game mechanics and the understanding of how an ability works.

Isnt it just so much nicer making an ability useless rather than asking a player to learn how to counter it?

I think blazing shield has been nerfed 5-6 times without being overpowered, Baddies crying for nerfs all the time is maybe a possibility why the game is in such a mess, Along with Zenimax incompetence.

Maybe next DLC we can pay for longer loading screens, More useless skills and a nerf to our current gear so they can make us pay for new ones.... Oh and plenty of carrots dangling above our heads!

side not for newbs who were not around - What no one is saying here is there was a bugged with blazing shield where if you recast it w/o it exploding the damage would stack for when it did explode. 5k "bombs" on 2k health pools. ...

Fixed. It was like sitting in dk's banner spamming snipe on him while his flappy flaps are up. Noone with a half brain ever died to it.
And you see that, all these skills are nerfed into ground. Thanks scrubs.

I would gladly give them back radiant op for the orginal ability sering strike. It was a fantastic aoe cc for melee fights including zergs. I believe it was better than what we got considering all the grief RO caused. With the lifting of AOE caps that old ability could easily set off balance and stun a full zerg allowing a quick proximity detonation wipe. Shame we can't get it back.

Bombplar is fun.
Although plain useless now in PvP, in PvE it still is possible (although tricky).

Currently the best i can produce is a 12K shield (6K PvP), with 43K HP.
I need to get 9 traits on 4 more heavy armor so i can craft the new Armor Master set (for an additional 5% HP).
Will it work... probably not. But it will be fun to do anyway.

If i'm not tank/healer i stack health and tank like that, Good DPS and best tank spec imo. In 1.6 i had a 90k health emperor spec, that was fun to just stand in trains and they wern't able to breech my shield.
