As others have mentioned in threads spread throughout the forums, it appears that the experience given in dungeons (both normal and veteran) has been extremely nerfed. Although this was most likely targeted at the Wayrest or Fungal Grotto/Banished Cells abuse, it has apparently impacted experience in all dungeons and made grouping/doing dungeons worthless in regards to experience at all (for example, Tempest Island used to give 1 level or close for full clear - now barely 1/4).
Can we get an official stance / response from ZOS on this as it has been left out of the patch notes. Although the Wayrest and other nerfs are somewhat understandable, this nerf has made all dungeons practically worthless once you complete it the first time.
I would greatly appreciate a response to the following questions:
1) Can ZOS officially state that they nerfed (and intended to nerf) the experience of group dungeons?
2) Can ZOS officially state that the nerf was meant to target many (if not all) dungeons and not just specifically the abused dungeons?
3) If the experience nerf is intended, what is the plan to encourage people to group for dungeons prior to the Undaunted quests?
4) Is it ZOS' intention to nerf what many consider (myself included) one of the best aspect's of their game into obseletion by awarding nearly 1/5 to 1/10 experience (if not worse) as compared to other means of garnering experience?
I have many other questions, but I would greatly appreciate a response to these. As someone who loves to group with others and run the excellent dungeons in the game, this nerf has hit me extremely hard and I would greatly appreciate some feedback as to why this was implemented and what ZOS intends for the future of these dungeons.
Thanks,
Tulk
