Please differentiate between Devs and Mods

So many times going to an interesting thread to find it is just some mod telling us to be good children and not have opinions - would be nice to have some way to know if the 'Z' was just someone telling us off or actually some useful info...

Dev tracker doesn't seem to do that unless devs only post in non-english posts...

I will second this wholeheartedly. Sometimes I get really excited to see that Z next to a thread heading, click in to see what a dev has commented on or if there has just been a lurk, only to be utterly disappointed by the 'let's behave nicely now' post. Been wishing this for awhile glad Suraklin made a thread about it.

It's funny when people dismiss Rich Lambert's posts because "he's just a mod."

I also like "we're looking into it" which is right up there with "We're working on a fix".

I haven't really had much trouble differentiating between mods and devs. Mods will give the generic "We understand that from time to time people will disagree" jargon and leave it at that. Devs tend to, if they must say it, say that and then continue on their post with something to add to the topic if they have something to add at all at that time.

Love the icons. Should implement 10/10. I mean isn't this the grown up verision of the forums?

    Grown up? Bahahaha. That's funny.

Considering the dictatorship of the mods its more like kindergarden it seems.

Yeah man remember when we got the 'updated' forums we went from the kid interface to the 'grown up' interface :) Now the behavior on both verisions, well. tehehehe.
