Stuck in Soul Shriven help? Xbox 1 locked door bug

Hi,

I created a new character and I cant get the first door to open in the soul shriven. The door you lock pick. It keeps saying "you cannot use that door right now". Also the giant girl is not with me.

I have tried logging in and out.

Am I stuck?

You may have resolved this already, but there are times where you have to TALK to Lyris as you progress, if you don't talk to her- when indicated and you keep moving, she will stay behind waiting for you to talk to her. So if you get to the door, and you haven't talked to her or done whatever else you need to do, it won't let you use the doorway to continue. Check for the 'hints' in the upper right corner where it shows your current quest information.

Yep, did the exact same thing. Talk to Lyris. You'll see her standing all the way back at the last hallway you left. Look for the white arrow.

Lyris is gone or invisible. I made the mistake of logging out for a moment while still with Lyris. I log in and she is gone and door bug.

I am going to start a new.
