Hi,
I play: v15, Orc, DragonKinght, Tank PvE and Tanky-Crowd Control-Support in PvP. I am Stamina based and running with sword/shield on both weapon sets at the moment. I don't like the look/feel of 2Handed or of dual wielding; bow is cool. My favorite skill is "Invasion" (shield charge-knockdown)= love it and I use it a lot.

I've been experimenting with various special armor sets and hoping people could add their experiences or tips.

I only have about 45-50 champion points (each constellation) and no access to the monster helm/shoulder sets. Also, I normally run with random groups.

Set #1 #1 Thunder Armor HA: 10% to do shock damage when struck by melee. This set is a lot of fun and I like the cool “shock” effect, but it seems so “random” when it procs… not for a long time and then like 3-4 times in a row it will proc. Although, fun I feel like I was dying more than usual.

Set #2 Twin Sister MA: 20% chance to cause bleed while blocking. This set is quite fun and I combine it with Footman Fortune and Werewolf rings. Not sure what other armor could be good with this set.

Set #3 Affliction HA: 50% chance to cause disease damage on hit. Sounds good, but I have not found the right combination to make this set fun. Maybe it’s better for PvP. So far in PvE it’s been disappointing .. probably I’m missing something.

Set #4 Alkavari Dragonguard HA (only v12): Ultimate cost -15%. This set combined with the Potentates sword/shield/neck set (ultimate cost -10%) is quite fun. I was dropping ultimates left and right… for the life of me I have not been able to find the sword to this set... If you have one please put on trader- NA server.

Set #5 PvP Sets:
Durok’s Bane HA: when damaged have a 20% chance to proc a -50% healing on enemy
Cyridil’s Crest HA: dealing damage reduces healing on enemy by 33% for 5 seconds/cooldown 15 seconds…
Bastion of the Heartland HA: -5% player damage, -20% AOE and siege damage..

I have been experimenting with different options, but I would really appreciate to hear about other peoples experiences with these sets.

How could I make each set more effective?
Did group composition affect your performance?

If you have tried one of these sets, I'd like to know your thoughts on what you liked or did not like...

Thanks!
