Bastion champion points

Hi there folks, can anyone helpfully clarify for me how the "Bastion" champion point ability in The Lord works, for a Templar healer?

Specifically, as "Bastion" improves my shield (which, I know, is increasingly dangerous in PvP) does it benefit just me, or when I cast Ward Ally IV does my ally benefit from points I sink in to "Bastion" too?

TL;DR : Does "Bastion" improve the shield for everyone, or just for me?

It improves shields you initiate. So if you have a shield that goes over other people it will improve it for them too. Its not worth it after IC patch because shields got nerfed 50%

Yup, I use it in a rotation in PvE, but am very wary of using it in sewers/IC given the scary Shieldbreaker shenanigans now.

Thanks for clarifying it's on initiation, so maybe could still have some (weak) utility in PvE dungeons . . .
