Cured vampire lost skill points

When I cured my vampire I lost the skill points I had in it

They're still in there if you ever reacquire vampirism. If you want those skill points back, you have to respec BEFORE getting cured. It's unfortunate this isn't made clear in any way but it's been like this since the launch of the game.

That's what I was thinking? But are sure I will get them back?

100% sure. If you become a vampire again, they will still be where you allocated them in the Vampirism skill line as if you had never cured it.

@Elsir I haven't checked myself (although I could I guess since I just cured mine), but last time I mentioned this I was corrected and told that now, if you respect AFTER getting cured you get the skill points back. (Although yeah, was definitely the way you explained at launch)

I was going to edit my post and include that respeccing after-the-fact might give you your "invisible" spent vampirism points back, but I haven't done any testing on that matter to give a "definitely will be this way" reference. I do remember being in the same boat though, getting upset that for some reason my vampirism points didn't get refunded to me when I cured it for the first time ever, but mostly because to this day, it's still not made clear what's about to happen to them at-a-glance.
