If you read it, it explains why, it's an emergency restart to fix a backend glitch, very likely something causing huge lag for players, They can't choose when things go wrong and they have to restart the servers, it just happens, and usually at the worst possible time. Besides, EU prime time doesn't really start properly for a couple of hours anyway so no harm no foul.

Yes...how dare they do an emergency maintenance to fix a backend performance issue prior to the weekend during their work day. I mean - it's not like they have families, or need sleep, or time off, or are normal human being who want to have an "end of day/prime time" the exact same as you feel entitled to. The nerve.

Giving you specifics on some bug deep down in the code that is causing a slow memory leak or something?

We were a group that took down the Simulacrum of Molag Bal just minutes before it went down! I really hope there won't be a rollback.

- Fix the Entropy procing potion cooldowns;
- Fix the login in mid-air and the spawn in mid-air when wayshrining;
- Fix the Hardened Ward responsiveness.

And here I thought they immediately took the servers down after my bug report. I learned all Xivkyn armour styles, but the shoulders and legs did not stick for some reason, they did get consumed, but now I can't craft them.

Maybe it'll be fixed after reboot? (A man can hope :P)

To be clear, this is not a patch - just a server reboot. And we're not expecting any rollbacks.

The fact they haven't taken down the NA server points to this not being a fix for load screens!

Probably took it down before it fell down.

Well the FPS and loading screens issues were becoming really worse and worse by the minute. So I hope this maintenance is going to solve this nightmare.

i wonder if this is to fix the dupe glitch that someone reported on here last night (1am UK time ish)
their post was removed rather quickly, they didnt post how to do it just that they had found one.
