As the title says root spamming how do you stop that rolling out kills your stamina this is crazy root then drop caltrops for a nice long snare = I win.

Killing Dodge Roll and leaving roots spam able come on.

What they did to roll dodge was an ill considered piece of design that was in response to a problem tyhat never really existed anyway.

If someone wanted to create a build that allowed them to roll from Bloodmayne to Warden without running out of stamina then good luck to them I'll just ignore them 'cos they aren't harming me while they are rolling.

But by such a drastic nerf to dodge they prevent legitimate use of the skill in combat so, as a stamina build, if I want to be able to use skills I now have to simply not dodge your attacks (nor block them)...

Of course next nerf cry that is already starting is to nerf vigor because the only way some players can beat us is if we have to stand still, without blocking or healing and just let them hit us... sad state of affairs when players are that poor, even sadder when devs cater to them.

Fortunately, roots are (surprise) broken and often simply do nothing. So you could perhaps learn more about this bug and abuse it to become immune. It will be well worth it, because most likely it is not going to be fixed, ever.

Roots are not 100% reliable.... both on DK's & Sorc's.

Plus the fear of stam builds being destroyed has been massively over exagerated..... there are numerous stam/blades still doing exceptionally well in IC, the dodgerolls, insane speed, vigor spam is still very real!

I've had to actually slot my Sorc root to try and counter it.

Some counter points I'm a Nightblade I can teleport to you with your root so really a problem for me but it is a problem.

What insane speed archers used got a roll speed buff on top of the 40% buff now it's the same buff so they don't stack all speed buffs give you the same speed +3% if you have any medium armor on

But I seen a EP (friendly) bombard and Magnum Shot two melee players to death they rolled he just knocked himself back and rerooted that's just bad design
