ESO Launcher very laggy on start up

Is anyone else having the issue of the ESO launcher being very laggy on start up?
I have tried any fixes I could find... like running it as administrator, making sure my firewall and AV let it through and running it in win 8 or 7 mode. It still lags and loads everything in very very slow.

✭✭I never use it except on Patch day. Just make a shortcut to eso.exe and use that.Lag is ruinin' my 'mershun!

That's what I have been doing because of the many issues with it lately. I was wondering if others had similar issues and maybe a fix for it though
