Levelling to VR in non-Vet IC

We were farming Tel Var stones in the non-vet IC, with one of our friends who was lvl49. We scored a particularly sweet revenge kill against an incredibly annoying red ganker who put our buddy up to VR1. We decided to head back to base to bank our stones, when lo and behold, our mate could not enter the sewers. It kept kicking him out because he was too high level, leaving him the proverbial sitting duck.

He ended up logging out and got kicked back to Marbruk when he logged in again, but that was really annoying that he could not get out without relogging.

Also ZOS, that was his last non-vet char. Any word on when we'll be able to purchase more character slot so we can PVP in non-vet together again? (No deleting chars is NOT an option)

At some point, you should join the vet campaigns for pvp. It made me angry to no end to see NA PC DC's pop barely register 2 bars for months straight a while ago but blackwater blade was pop locked all day. We certainly could use more character slots, but not so people can hide out in blackwater blade forever. That campaign should be a once in a while 'lets have fun and run on our lowbies' campaign. If you want to play on there permanently, then you're going to have to delete characters once they've out leveled the campaign.

Who wants to play there the Vet campaigns and be cannon fodder for every VR14- VR16 no thanks I'll keep remaking characters when they hit VR1

If you don't want to play that way, it's cool, but don't complain when you have 8 characters at v1 and then have to literally delete them so you can keep starting over to play that way. I want to play the game with massive pvp and non-crippling lag in vet servers, but we can't all get what we want.

And if you don't want to pvp as non v16, that's fine too, just go level. If you have 8 toons at v1, guess what, you probably could have one or more at v16 is less time.

Yeah, I've played more in vet campaigns than in Blackwater. And I hated it. Even being v16-v16 is no shield to the OP EP DK vamp bat-zergs.

I (and my guildies) found Blackwater Blade to way more balanced and all over fun. Vet PVP was an exercise in frustration and repeated deaths. Non-vet PVP was a thousand times more fun.

I'd must rather spend money on another char slot than delete a character that I love

Maybe you should be asking ZOS to balance cyrodiil then that's the root of the problem for you. As someone that used to run in a pvp raid group with everyone being vamps, take a page from an EP sorc's book and have a few of them in your group that can prox, streak, and dawnbreaker. Even with the increased damage mitigation now, a few of them doing it at once will wipe a stacked zerg.

The problem with prox though, is the amount of PVPing you have to do to unlock it. Considering how bad I suck in vet PVP, that might take another year and a half

But anyway, that's not what this topic is about. It was about there being no way to exit IC short of relogging because you happened to level up to VR there. It's like the unusable Tel Var stone boxes in non-vet, ZOS didn't even consider that campaign when they were developing IC

The guy doesn't want to play vet PvP. It is what it is. I don't even play PvP. People will play the content they enjoy.
