Unable to walk and turn, can't kite

I can interact with the environment: pick locks, gather mats, fight mobs if stationary. Once I press the 'w' I can only go in a straight line. If I go more than about 4 strides and release the key, I run on for 6 to 12 strides before coming to a halt. I can't fish: once the wheel appears I can't select a bait. I can't kite mobs at dolmens because I can't use a skill and walk at the same time. It was suggested to me that it might be a cache issue and I've tried '/camp', waiting and then relogging. That didn't work; nor did running the game repair.
Any suggestions?

Anorak✭✭✭My suggestion would be rebinding the keys, checking ping(as walking for too long can be a result of 300+ ping) and if that doesnt work just try reinstalling.0 -
