VR15 detect pots last about 15 seconds now with the Alchemy perks.

    [They're still extremely useful.]

They also changed the pot so that it would no longer allow the user to see a cloaked NB. Regular stealth can be detected but not NB cloak...which honestly should have been that way from the beginning.

I thought they did not implement that.

    Look at the patch notes:

•Single-target abilities cast by those that have an active detection potion will no longer miss player characters who are Shadow Cloaked. If you can see them, you can hit them!

So from the notes I'm assuming you can still be seen through cloak if someone is using detect pot.

I still dump detect pots and collect my AP/TV from killing confused nightblades.

Look how confusing the patch notes are:

    •Shadow Cloak:

•You can no longer be hit by single target attacks while this ability is active.

•Single-target abilities cast by those that have an active detection potion will no longer miss player characters who are Shadow Cloaked. If you can see them, you can hit them!

Did no one catch that these 2 statments in the patch notes completley contradict each other?

    My guess:

•You can no longer be hit by single target attacks that are flying in mid-air after this ability activates. Sorc toss out shard - NB Cloak - sorc loses LOS - shard miss.

•I remember reading it somewhere, in an earlier PTS version, drinking a detection pot will still miss all attacks on an invis NB. This may just be a fix for that problem. 'If you can see them, you can hit them!' so I guess single-target are suppose to hit invis opponents with the help of pot.

Detect potions shouldn't detect NB using cloak. That's a potion countering a class.

Either change the potion to not see NB while using cloak or make counter potions for every class.

I dont care that it sees me in cloak i care that 10 people cant see me in cloak from one potion

^ multiple people being able to see you adds insult to injury.

But I DO care that there's a counter potion for ONE class and I do care for class balance. Right now there's only one class that gets countered by a potion. That in and of itself is an imbalance.

The first statement is a bug fix. For the past 6 months a lot of single target attacks were breaking cloak.

The second has to do with a initial bug on pts were even if the NB was revealed, as long as he spammed cloak he couldn't be hit by single target attacks.

I think we just need potions which give you the shield breaker set bonus for 10 seconds.

Then we have potions to counter everyone... apart from DK, but that's fine DK's are special.
