    Its a PVP DLC not PVE. Just because there are mobs in IC doesnt mean that you can just farm them.
    If you dont like PVP dont go into the imperial city.

    Imperial City always was supposed to be a Player-Killer festival. What would one expect from it, knowing that? To be allowed to wander freely and take in the sights? I wouldn't. I would expect to be ganked within seconds of sticking my nose in there. I would expect I shouldn't even bother looking at tel var stones, for the next ganker will take them away anyhow. Why would anyone expect anything else? That place is the PvP-freak playground, you gotta expect freaky PvP...

    Which is why I haven't visited yet. Someday I will, in a while, when the worse of the worst have ganked their fill... fully expecting to get my bum handed to me anyhow. It's all out PvP, nothing else -to- expect there.

    And otherwise I wait for orsinium...

    But I see no sense in complaining about something that was pretty obvious long before the whole thing went live...

    Though who knows, maybe the powers that be will tweak the ratio at which those without big PvPness loose their stones? 80% now, maybe in a patch or two it will only be 60%... it could happen...

    It is only a huge waste of time if they do not make any money from it.

    You missed the point entirely. The only reason to risk getting into a PvP fight is to get PvP gear. And why would you do that if you hate PvP. You can "free farm" the new PvE dungeons all day if you want.

    Just wondering if this also applies to the new Enchanting and Alchemy materials. Is it possible to farm the required potency runes and solvents outside IC too?

    I never said I hate PVP I hate loosing that many stones in 1 sec And I don't like being forced to pvp to get content. that's my opinion, most people will be on the loosing end of this pvp gank feast and like I said its not fun. go on and troll about what ever your thoughts are ,facts are facts people don't like to loose. I consider myself a average pvper and there is no surviving a zerg or nb ganker when you don't have time to react. All iam saying is make the 80% less like 50 or so or make it available through quests or something in pvp zone

    The PVE gear is honestly better than the PVP sets..

    Just wait it out man.. The next DLC will just make it all obsolete anyway. Then when the hype calms down the "completionist" can grab it.

    Lost 3k stones yesterday. No hard feelings. Had a blast ganking in DC sewers getting them. The fight I died in was so epic that I felt like congraduating the team who got me down. Felt proud that my grp of 3 attracted a raid of 12 to get us down.

    Sometimes its not about the destination but about the journey.

    All TV sets are Bind on Equip, so if you're in-game rich you could always go that route...

    You don't need to go into IC for decon items. You can farm those mats by going into any dungeon now at V15 or V16. The bosses drop V15 and V16 gear to decon.

    True, but you get items in IC just casually doing PvE Dailies and opening chests when you come by them a lot faster.

    I have gotten ~35 items to decon just doing the main quest line and 6 dailies 1 time. You'd have to do ~5 dungeon runs to get what you can get doing 6 dailies in 1-2 hours. You're also getting 500+ Tel var stones from daily completion so it's effectively 2-3 times faster than running dungeons.

    My suggestion: If you are not a dedicated/skilled solo pvper you should stick to groups. You will keep more of your stones. Going solo is a huge waste of time if you don't know what you are doing.

    No, you need Tel Var stones for those unfortunately, though there might be chests in the Dungeons that drop them rarely. Not 100% sure on that.


    That's a good reason to slog through the dailies in the districts, though. a couple of hours of getting ganked occasionally is not so bad for 500+ TV stones reward...

    Not so much on PC as there is a harder time contacting the other person..
    But this will be easier on console.

    I have on many times went into the other factions area and sent PM's and we have had nights of "FightClubs" with 1v1's and 4v'4s a lot of the time..

    I swear if the community would think like this instead of a mindless buncha gankers things would be so much better.
    The other night we had a BLAST running this fight club for over 3 hours.
    Anything useful that players are wanting added into the game all fall under the category of "Yer ruinin my 'mersion!" Sallington

    Not sure how IC can be considered a PvP DLC when it is completely centered around 2 PvE dungeons and a PvE zone to kill PvE bosses.

    It is more accurately a Ganking / Zerging DLC for killing people trying to PvE.

    There is little point making your statement.

    These threads always follow the same routine.

    PvEer complains about lack of fairness, PvP die hard calls them a carebear, whiner or makes some purile comment about their tears, and PvEer gets upset about the lack of respect and does the same back.

    The Kind of PvPer you find trolling the forums are the ones who nearly always start with the denigration, belittling and insults. Do the adult game playing population a favour and ban hammer these types would you? You forums would be better for it.
