Don't worry about Raz. He will get over it. I did the same thing, and, in fact, his argument for letting him die there was extremely shoddy. "Oh what's that? Because I saved you instead of destroying the bane of the elves' thingy ma bob now you have to find a new place to hide it? So what? Go do your job."
