Looking for a NB magicka build for levelling. Preferably using DW/Restro, for survivability. Can only seem to find ones PvP related.

Thanks.

If you're on console, you may want to wait to see how the upcoming changes affect the skills. If you want, I can show you what I run, but it's likely to change soon.

I can still help you out as I took a look at the changes and it doesn't seem to be screwing up my build. So then, where to begin?

Armor: whatever you want as long as you have a minimum of 5 light
Attributes: You can go all into magicka. I personally do 6:1 magicka:health.
    Skills:

    Resto: Single target
    Inner light
    Structured entropy
    Crippling grasp
    Funnel health
    Healing ward
    U: Soul Tether

    DW: AOE
    Sap essence
    Siphoning attacks
    Merciless resolve
    Twisting path
    Lotus fan
U: Veil of Blades or Bat swarm if you are a vampire

Why do you use Lotus Fan when it has limited use unless you're a tank?

Why do you not use Concealed Weapon for its bonus to stealth movement speed and good single target damage?

Why do you only use Inner Light on one bar?

I use lotus fan to gap close groups of mobs. The snare helps to keep mages and archers together so I can spam sap on them

I don't need stealth movement speed from concealed weapon since I am a vampire. My single target bar is all ranged abilities so it makes no sense to put it there. I also don't really like it since I'd have to slot cloak to get the full use out of it (stun). I also found that it sucks at efficiency. I can only get off 4 or 5 concealed weapons in a row before my magicka runs out, but I can spam crippling grasp and funnel health all day. They are also easier skills to weave in light attacks with a staff.

Inner light is only on my single target bar because...well frankly, I simply ran out of room on my other bar. I also think that if I'm going to increase my spell crit, might as well do it on my single target bar to help in taking down bosses.
