I've been trying to read through some info and im confused.
So if anyone can answer a small questions that would be cool.

✭✭You could attempt it, but the enemies are scaled for group play and since it is a PVP zone, you have to deal with other players killing you.Far too many characters to list any more.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I am betting there will be lots of people looking to randomly group up, especially when the content is new. Just talk to people at the faction gates, so you can group together to safely reach sewers entrance. At that point, stay grouped to explore the sewers and city. Or find a new group inside the sewers. The first part of the sewers is a safe zone where you can find group mates without getting attacked by Daedra or other players.0 -
Mawgusta✭✭✭Go to the Memorial district. It is designed in a way that keeps the players close. You end it working with other players naturally because of it. Also the other districts aren't much less designed this way. Just not as natural that it happens in the memorial district. Which was always ripe with PvP any time I was on the PTS.
You'll find that your worries of solo or group weren't as much as you thought. Where you enter the districts through the ladders at you home base is also the spawn areas for players on your team that have died. Just follow the flow of players for more safety in numbers.1 -

Content wise, you will need to be around others if not grouped because its a contested area but there are also safe zones once inside. For the majority of the time on PTS the IC was open to all so I can't really share much there but I think for the most part, its a PvP update that gives PvP players new content. (At some point it would clear out and not be as contested IF it closes as it should vs staying open).

✭The Imperial City will have two pve delves but again they will be for the most part forced group play which I am sick and tired of. Why you might ask well for two big reasons. First off on many occasions players get frustrated and drop out of the group leaving the rest of the members hanging or one or two group members will start playing the blame game pointing fingers at another group player for failures in the delve. Geeze what ever happened to enjoying the challenge and just having fun. I like solo play and questing in new adventure zones where ZOS has completely dropped the ball. For those of you who like pvp Imperial City will be a gold mine of challenges and group play. For all you pvp players have a great time it will be a lot of fun for you. Hopefully ZOS will at some point start supporting the solo players with content.0 -

✭Sight seeing most defiantly but you might want to take some soul gems with you. Mobs are spaced out enough that is is fairly easy to move around if you want to avoid them. If you are an average player you can even take some of them out by yourself, just be careful and not pull to many at once. You can even do some quest steps by yourself but you may want to wait for some others from your faction to be around before you take on bigger foes. There will be some folks there willing to help you out but there will also be folks wanting to take you out. Just remember it is a game if you want to go there then do it the most it will cost you is respawns and Tel Var stones that you may get along the way, but it doesn't hurt I promise.

Stealthing around and helping other people is probably your best bet if you don't group. Otherwise I'd say try to play during times of low population (reducing your risk of other players attacking you). If you are a strong player with a good build some stuff is "doable". Some people were trying to test this on PTS. Unfortunately other players were doing extensive "testing" of how many Tel Var stones they could loot from me, so I didn't get very far;) To get anything significant done grouping was pretty much mandatory.

Yes, you can play alone and on the PTS with my tanky Dragonknight this was my prefered way to go about the City. It would likely be a lot harder to do solo play if you aren't somewhat tanky as you'll constantly be outnumbered either by players or npcs. I feel kind of bad for console players, lack of text chat really limits grouping options.0 -
