My game freezes everytime I attempt to create a new character

Last night, I deleted one of my characters because she looks uglier than intended.
So I started the character editor and after like 2 minutes, my game hard freezes and I can't do anything and I have to hard reset my pc everytime and this is freaking time consuming. I did this 4 times last night and it happened over and over again.
I thought, I just let it be, go to bed and try again today. But the same happens again and I don't know why this is happening. Is anyone experienced with this ?
