Outfits

This game is in desperate need of outfits - the ability to put on pieces of armour cosmetically so that they display over your normal armour. I had a really cool outfit, looked like a thief (what I was going for) until I hit lvl 26 and needed an update. There are no shoulders for lvl 26 that look remotely good for a stealthy character. I had a really cool mix of black-brown going, now I could just as well be The Brown Ninja, for the Breton (only matching chestpiece) no longer has enough 3rd slot colours on it. Same goes for my Imperial - I want him to be a typical front-line trooper, not "Gareth-Dragon-Slinger The Mighty, Slayer Of The Seven Levels Of Hell," yet it's either that, or having abysmal armour stats. My mage, too, looks like "Lord Satan The 5th, Eater Of Gods" which is far from the concept I had for him.

Can we please get this really simple touch added to the game? So many games come with that as a launch feature, I was really confused as to why this was missed in ESO.

Have you looked at the costumes in the Crown Shop? Those are designed to go over your armor like disguises do, but you keep your armor on.

There is also clothing, most of which you have to steal, but can be laundered*. This does replace the armor pieces in the slots, but you can dye the clothing to get any look you want, if you have the dyes unlocked.

*I don't mean washing it to clean it, but to remove the stolen flag so a guard does not take them away if your caught committing some crime.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

But that's the thing, I have a look I like - I don't want to wear the same onesie that another 100,000 players are - Most MMOs have outfits AND the ability to equip armour pieces as pieces of an outfit. And if I wanted to demolish my stats (like wearing clothing), I could just as well wear the level 24 stuff, couldn't I?
