Alt character - need a good sorc grinding build

Title says it all! I'm leveling up an alt just for crafting so I don't need to find every sky shard or do every skill point quest. I want to make this as painless as possible so I'm going to just pop an xp scroll and grind mobs. The character is a sorc and I need some ideas on a build. I'm assuming I'll need some AOE and maybe some damage reduction since I'll be fighting many mobs at once instead of one on one. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

At low levels the summoned clanfear is quite good at keeping a bit of the mob aggro off you.

At very low levels there isnt lots of AoE as a sorc.... when you can get lightning splash then that's very good, and can be used with encase to keep the mobs in position.

Until then I'd say get your summoned clanfear out, use crystal fragments & Force shock.

It also depends how high you want to level this character as to which skills you'll have.

In the medium term a light armor setup with thundering presence, liquid lightning, elemental ring, & surge is pretty damn good for AoE mob grinding.
