This seems such a basic feature, is there a reason why you cannot delete your posts? Sometimes I ponder what I wrote and change my mind about something I earlier said, or when I originally wrote my poor comments I was under the influence of skooma. Would be nice if I could delete my retracted statements instead of having to edit every post I want to correct with ...

Yattaq✭✭✭Threads are much easier to follow if people in your situation make a new post correcting themselves, rather than having holes sprinkled throughout the thread. You can already edit posts for what seems like a limitless amount of time. Pushing a Delete button versus pushing an Edit button and Ctrl-A Del and then typing "Redacted" is the difference of a few seconds.
If those few seconds are bothering you enough for you to want to streamline that, then you should start putting more thought into your posts.Edited by Yattaq on August 27, 2015 6:17AM1
