Channeled Focus, where does the magicka regen show up, or does it?

Templar morph of Rune Focus is supposed to grant magicka return when 'in the area' (presumably the AoE designated by the rune on the ground.), yet the MR stat never changes, and far as I can tell, there is no buff that shows in the character sheet.

Does this work at all, and if so, how can you honestly tell?

If you use combat log statistics addon, you can see it.
It does not buff any stats it only ticks you with mana get

Hi Merlin. It is a separate from normal magicka regen and returns a set amount of magicka every 0.5 seconds. I am pretty sure it works, but I have not looked at it lately. I think the restore ticks show in CombatLogStatistics addon, if you use that. You can also just watch your blue bar and should see it ticking up at a faster rate than normal. It is nice in that not being a buff it stacks with potions.

Back in 1.5, the magicka restore used to stay with you even if you left rune. Not sure if they fixed that in 1.6.

I think they did fix walking out of the circle removes the regen. its the same for the 8% healing buff. But then again that shows up in the buffs as a 1s tick so if you walk out it runs out.
