Has anyone tried Mag Sorc DW on Update 7?

I wonder if Magika Sorc with DW works quite good on IC.

After the nerf on shields and bolt stacking 50% regeneration hurts too much the class.

What exactly are the nerfs to shields?

Is there already a 15% shield reduction in cyrodiil or did i just read that somewhere?

Because if there is then theres only really a 5% nerf to them because dmg got 30% more reduction and shields got 35% more.

If you plan on using molag kena's (which you should) DW has a obvious disadvantage because you need to be in melee range and this has been made more difficult with the streak nerf. You could switch to your resto staff to proc the set at rangebut the weapon swap every 6s will reduce your dps, but not your burst.

Destro staff attacks and force pulse will be needed for clearing out pve mobs so I think destro/resto will be more useful overal.

For pve dungeons destro/DW should work great with overload on the DW bar.
