Too limited view. It depends entirely on type of armor and gender of character. I never make armor of just one style either. Mixing racial type pieces and armor weights always give best results.

I really do like the look of imperial heavy however I've not had much chance to wear any (I do have the imperial edition, so I can if I have some!)

Apart from that I'm not really that fussed, have the golden saints costume and if the helmet is really ugly, I just hide it

Its hard to find a good tailor these days, so my sorceress has a few pieces of everything. My Redguard warrior fashioned herself a nice armor out of Argonian skin, self-made women she is.

Very differentiated for me. Light armor is either Imperial or Dwemer, whereas shoulders are always Imperial. Light Pants are Daedric, but only if combined with a heavy chest, for the kilt style.

Medium Armor, I prefer Barbaric or Bosmer. Since I don't tank, I have little heavy armor visible (except for chests). Those are kind of decided on spot, not really a preference there.

I have helmets always hidden, except for light armor helmets, and then it's usually Breton. In general, I find helmet design abysmal. May be realistic, but abysmal nonetheless.

Staves I go for Dwemer exclusively. Swords & Daggers are usually Redguard, I just like the curved scimitar-style blades. Maces I go for a style that has a hammerhead, mostly Nord.

Shields is difficult. I tend to use Ancient Elf, but only if it fits the overall style.

Usually, all gets messed up because of the "need" (just my perception) to mix and match with drop sets. If those pieces are to overwhelming, it means costume, mostly the scout and thief sets. I am very much looking forward to the Breton and Elf Hero costumes that were datamined, I hope those get implemented.

I would have added mix but it is way to obvious that that would probably get more than 50% of the votes, I myself mix argonian and khajiit style all self made and if anyone wants I can make redguard gear for other players as well, I seem to only have those exotic styles.

Redguard medium armor. Breton for heavy armor. I can't find any light armor style that I find acceptable but ancient elf is mildly palatable, IMO.

I don't care for the Khajiiti hood on non-Khajiit, but the rest of their style is very nice. Bosmer and Breton also get my vote, and what I've seen of Imperial looks good. Redguard was a favorite before they changed it.

I like:
Light armor: Imperial and Mercenary robes (my favourite used to be pre-1.6 redguard but oh well), some xivkyn and dwemer parts, dwemer shoulders. Also redguard sashes and epaulets, hat of martial knowledge and robe of Infallible Aether.
Medium armor: Akaviri, Khajiit and Mercenary, as well as some parts of DC and EP Shield Breaker sets. Also, Ophidian and Vicious Ophidian styles, I really hope they will be craftable at some point.
Heavy armor: almost all Xivkyn, Khajiit and Mercenary items. Also non-craftable Unassailable, Yokeda and Ebon/Ravager items. Especially the latter, I really loved my Ravager cuirass and greaves.

Well the issue is the Daedric Armor style is too general and it should be called Dremora which is the style of the specific humonoid Daedra.

Skyrim just kind of generalized the name and ESO stuck with it.

The Dremora style has been called Daedric since well before Skyrim.

Imperial was the easy answer. Best style overall. I'm also partial to Argonian (which seems to have rated poorly), Breton and Nord styles. There are bits and pieces of the other styles that I like as well. The Altmer Staves for instance are pretty cool. Daedric staff is really cool (though not one of the 10). Dunmer blacksmithed weapons are great (wish they had proper bonemold or chitin armor). I like some of the khajiit styles, but find they are too niche to put at the top.

The problem is, the Elfbane set is stuck at Argonian which I despise, so I have to wear a costume to hide it.

Not much of a Khajiit armor fan, but I will admit, this looks good with the glass motif combo and the dye selection.
