Sigh...
"Champion Points"
Lowbies are not champions. They havent beaten the main story. The idea behind granting them to lowbie alts of Vets is because they have already done the content. This will allow them to level alts quicker.
they're not going to do it for non vet characters. Why? CP progression is meant to replace veteran ranks (still waiting for it to be removed), but now that it's here and we see a power gap, the BETTER question is how do they deal with the gap (they're already hinting at season-gating maximum CPs) - how this is implemented, we will just have to see or other potential solutions they might bring.
Also put this into the bigger context: non vet exp is around 2.3million roughly from 1 to 50, that's 5 CP (doesn't even get to 6)..... Does it really make a difference if you have those 5 now or once you reach veteran ranks?
I agree either let alts get them up from level one or let people start a vet character in their own faction starting
as for alts, why do they not have their own pool and also just earn them from lvl1 onward?
Would help (to a certain extent) new players catch up and prevent 'twinked' alts causing chaos in BWB
Was there a reason to require a vet character to earn them? and to make them account wide?
The CP horse has bolted already but I was just wunderin'
