Nightblade or Sorcerer 1.7 IC SOLO PVE

Hi guys!
I am rerolling away from DK sadly as they are apparently getting the Nerf Hammer from God...which REALLY pisses me off.
I am not a fresh noob to this game and I have dappled SLIGHTLY with both the Sorc and NB up to level 15 each and wanted to know which is overall the better choice for SOLO / SMALL GROUP PVE.
I prefer to be honest Dual Swords Magicka builds as my preferred choice...I am not overly concerned with being the "Best DPS class" in the game I just want something fun and exciting to play.
I was thinking of a DW Magicka Sorc 1-50 + VR Ranks:
- Daedric Prey
- Crystal Frags
- Liquid Lightining
- Clannfear
- Twlight
OR
DW Magicka Nightblade:
- Shadowy Disguse
- Concealed Weapon
- Power Drain
- Grim Focus
- Impale
I am not sure which is the better solo leveler and PVER for solo Dolmens, Light trail runs and in general performance in 1.7...
Can someone help me please understand changes!
