Build Help

As the subject title suggests, I'd like help with certain min max builds. Min/Maxing as best as I can.

Specifically DK but I play all 4 classes.

I'd like to use armour and weapons I can craft, I'd rather not hunt for weapons armour and jewels. I know they help but this is a later goal for me to do once my friends catch up to me.

Craft only armour and weapons:
I can build:
Light/Heavy @ 6 trait
Medium @ 5 trait
Staves @ 7 Trait
Shield @ 8 trait
Bow @ 7 trait

Let's assume I'm maxed VR14. To make things easier, I adapt well with all weapons, I like them all. I'm adaptable.

All I want is to maximise DPS and minimise incoming damage / mitigate incoming damage as much as possible.

-How should my attributes be allocated?
-What armour? Heavy med light.. or a mixture? (Crafted set)
-What Weapon? TH or OH/DW Sword/Axe/Hammer bow/staff (crafted set weapon)
-ULTS and abilities.

For:
(Listed in priority)

Dragonknight
Nightblade
Sorcerer
Templar

I tend to be an aggressive all out attack player. But I also on the reverse, like aspects of stealth play with NB.

I Know there isn't a best or worst set up, but with a specific goal in mind, min max.. dps/damage mitigating etc, there must be a -go to- build.

If you need any other info about my playstyle that would help you help me, just post below :D

I welcome discussion of course.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

I have done some research myself, I feel something is still missing. Mixed and matched in the past, I'd much prefer to have live real-time up to date input atm. A lot of guides I've read are either out of date and dated from over a year ago, or have too many conflicting ideas.

I either go 100% health and feel I can't heal as much or share attributes evenly and find I die too quickly.
PvP and PvE. I love PvP but I also like PvE.

When health is concerned.... Maximise Health regeneration or Maximise health? Maximise health right?

You are asking a VERY broad question. The thing is no one can really answer that question but you. Others can give you some ideas but ultimately you have to decide what you like. Deltia is a great resource, I've made two builds based on his design (with tweaking) for a DK and my current build which is by far my favorite, my dual wield Templar. If you like if your face action, I suggest dual wield, or two handed. Also if you go stam, hunding rage is a great craftsmen set (6 trait). I put even points between health and stam and use the warrior for weapon dmg, and all divines to increase it even more. I like immoveable from HA to gain a bit more armor and sleek resist and shuffle from MA for dodge. DK I found that loading up on as many DoT as you can burns through enemies. Talons is a must, unstable flame, flange breath, I also like inferno, it has a moron that adds weapon critical which is nice. ESO head online has a skill calculator that I like to use to consider new builds.

Flange eh? :p sorry just made me laugh... urban dictionary used to be my internet word home. Lol.

The question I'm asking isn't very broad there is always a -go to- with everything, a broad example being: it's widely accepted that a certain ability/attribute/set is a *MUST* especially for character optimisation. There's always a build that's stronger than another etc, you underlined the TALONS ability for a DK etc, I'd rather hear/read what worked for others because I myself have used deltias guide and I still feel there's something missing. I currently use corrosive armor ult with my 2h, dual wielding has the dragon leap ult as a general rule talons and green dragon blood too.

I either find I have no stamina or can't heal myself with green dragon blood/draw essence.. etc

The main thing I'd like to have from others really is:

    Attribute distribution
Sets they use (I prefer crafted ones, but getting a general idea might encourage me to go delve hunting)
I like optimisation, I've had my hours of fun. Now I'd like efficiency :p

Currently VR14 53 health 5 stam 5 magicka - surely since most of DK's abilities are magic based. It'd make more sense to have a magicka/Stam build? Or would that weaken a DK too much?

I consider myself quite a good tank. People often ask me to tank for them pvp/delves but I still strive to get better.

With my DK I'm stuck should I keep to dual wielded and 2h or should I use sword and shield and dual? Etc. As I said I'm proficient with all. I just need advice :)

See, I'm useless :p this game is versus pvp too.

He he, yeah sorry I'm doing this on my phone. The thing about min maxing whatever you want to do has to be meticulously planned. Do to want to sneak in pvp to one shot with wrecking blow, or follow up with crit charge? You're best bet is to use a khajit or bosmer using nights silence and ashen grip crafted armor. You have to look at what exactly you want to do and plan it out. I want to use valk scoria monster set, so I have about 4 DoT's going so that I have the best possible chance to proc that meteor. I also have the nengeance leech set to help with survivability and resource management. That's why I suggested the website esohead.com they have all the skills laid out just like in game, you can even set up your skill bars to get an idea of what you want. I know you want someone to come on with a ready build for you, honestly the best thing, look up you tube videos, find something appealing, then try it, see how it feels.

First decide either pvp or pve

    Then decide magicka or stamina.

Get health to at least 20k for pvp, put the rest in your dmg stat (either magicka or stamina)

Get all magicka/stamina enchants on gear
    Get reduce cost jewellery magicka/stamina

If sorc boost magicka so high your get 20k shields and ez pvp.
If nb get high dps and cloak a lot and ezp pvp.
If dk get your build some decent dps and get used to comboing your skills a lot thats the only way you'll be viable in pvp and you'll still lose to a half decent sorc/nb or they run and you can't catch
Templar - best class for pve but in pvp ... LOL(poor Temps :( )
    PS4 EU DC

    Current CP : 756+

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

Thank you :) all. Builds are working better for me.

Recovery > reduction now surely? This would especially be the case with abilities that require charge up or channeling... 2 seconds of channeling = better efficiency?
Recovering more of a resource per second... A ring aids recovery by 146 or reduces cost by 166.
If it restores what it reduces by, isn't that pretty much the same thing? Only recovery means once out if combat you restore faster... ready to get in another fight.

I found the opposite to be effective.
Ranged, heavy magicka attacks with high spell crit and a back up 2h or just resto staff in robes... I've found batswarm/meteor flame lash and unstable flame to be working nicely for me thus far. Magelight morph....radiant Magelight. . is sexy vs NB :) but since I have a 2h I opt for flames of oblivion.

    They don't stack it seems.
