Teleporting doors in IC

If I walk out of the Imperial Sewers, I go back to my alliance gate instead of just showing up outside of the door to the sewers.

If I leave a dungeon, I leave Cyrodiil entirely and wind up back in the last zone I was in.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'd like to walk out of a door and wind up on the other side of it, instead of a different place altogether.

    LOL!! I submitted a bug report on that last night.

    Logged in in Craglorn. Join Campaign and go to IC. Decide to take a peek at the Gold White Tower dungeon while I wait for my friends to come in. Walk out the door. Get ported to Deshaan.

    Really though, the dungeon door thing is intended. I believe it is because when you are in the dungeon for population reasonings you are no longer counted in the campaign popcap (so that way you can teleport to a dungeon without waiting on the queue)
    •If you leave the Imperial City by way of exiting the Imperial City Prison or White-Gold Tower dungeons, you will return to your alliance’s capital city.
    •To leave the Imperial City, you go through your alliance’s home base in the Imperial Sewers, the same way you came in. This will return you to your home base in Cyrodiil (the same campaign you entered through.)

    [EDIT] Maybe they send you to home base to stop people from camping the doors? So at least if they camp them, people are on their way and can see the campers?

    Maybe. Additionally, you can walk through any sewer entrance in Cyrodiil and into your alliance's home base. I.e., you'd get a free port to the sewer entrance in your alliance's home territory.

    Yeah this is all intentional, but I'd like to see the "expected door behaviour" added as an option, with the dungeon exits allowing you to queue back into the campaigns, and the sewer exit also allowing you to go back to the Capital.

    So, on activating the Sewer Exit, you'd see:
    Imperial Sewers Exit
    You are leaving the Imperial City. Where would you like to go?
    • [E] Sewer Entrance
    • [F] Cyrodiil Border Gate
    • [X] Alliance Capital

    On activating the Dungeon exit, you'd see:
    Campaign Entry
    You are entering the Alliance War. Would you like to join the Campaign Queue?
    • [E] Enter Home Campaign
    • [F] Enter Guest Campaign
    • [X] Go to Alliance Capital
