Mob Grinding. More experience for higher level mobs?

I'm VR9 and currently grinding VR10 mobs in the final zone of the last faction. There is a better grindspot in the VR8 zone, but I'm concerned if I grind there I won't be getting as much experience because it's lower level. Do I get the same experience from grinding VR8 mobs as I would VR10's or would I get more experience from killing VR10's because they are higher level? Have heard conflicting opinions on this.

✭✭✭✭✭VR10 mobs should give you slightly better XP but you can easily make up for if you have more of the VR8 or if they have a better respawn rate.
The difference in XP is actually pretty small between VR8 and VR10, the type of mob is much more important for good XP.
