I'm already missing my NB, particularly his ability to remove DOTs. I'm a sorcerer now... How can I get rid of DOTs (I'm around lvl 15)?

    You need something to purge it. The templar ability cleansing ritual and its morphs allow you to activate a synergy which will remove that.

    The only ability you will get to cast on yourself will be the support ability purge.

    @#&%!!! SUPPORT purge doesn't come to like level 4... That lvl 3-4 AP grind is a looong one.

    Thanks, I was afraid that was the answer. It almost sounded like the regen morph to mutagen might remove a DOT... But that doesn't seem to happen.

    I never worried about DoT's myself. If the Mob that applied them die, so does the DoT.

    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    At rank 5 in alliance rank skill line Support (somewhere around teh rank of 'Veteran') you get the skill Purge.
    It works okay.

    or you can always have a templar in your pocket :P

    look at the descriptions for PURGE and MUTAGEN:

    Maybe I have a reading comprehension issue, but it sure seems like MUTAGEN should clear a DOT:
    "Allies with less than 20% Health are healed an additional [x] Health and have one harmful effect removed"

    Yeah, but on somebody else if they are under 20% health.

    Someone should test that.

    Also, Stendarr's Embrace set drops from 29-35 and has a chance to remove DoT on heal.

    Support 4 is about an hour or two on defense with a moderately sized group.

    I thought everything that said ALLY also applies to yourself?

    Hmm, only when below 20%? Too little, too late :(
