How to train your sorcerer

So I'm a lvl 37 sorcerer and am looking for a few opinions on skill. currently I'm trying to spec one skill bar to aoe and the other for single target focus damage. Which skill and passives are ideal for that sort of set up. Also prob worth mentioning I'm aiming for pve play and am not planning on going to cyrodiil till much later.

Single taeget bar, crystal frags, force pulse, curse, mages fury
Aoe bar, impulse and liquid lightning (possibly daedric mines)

Bar One (Single Target): Force Pulse, Crystal Frag, Structured Entropy, Magelight, Unstable Clannfear
Bar Two (AoE): Restraining Prison, Liquid Lightning, Elemental Ring, Magelight, Unstable Clannfear

I rarely EVER die with this setup, and have solo'd public dungeons and group bosses without a problem and this is wearing a full set of Light armor.

The Clannfear is great for tanking, and for mobs I lock them down with Restraining Prison, drop Liquid Lightning, and spam Elemental Ring two or three times and by then they're dead. In a way I find this setup somewhat boring because of how extremely effective it is, I rarely encounter a challenge. Although, this is strictly PvE, I don't PvP, so I'm sure this loadout wouldn't be as effective there.

If you don't want to pvp then you will miss out on a really good AoE spell for sorcs, prox det.
