Why can't DC Xbox one leaders get along

Am not sure if this s the right place for this if not can a Mod please move this to the correct thread.

I have a serious question am not sure if this also happens on the PS4 or PC version but why does it seem that on the X1 DC leaders can not get along and work together and just harass each other. We fight each other more then we fight AD and EP that's insane.Aren't we all fighting for the same thing victory for the Covenant. I see no reason why we have to fight and harass each other.I have two examples of this Two days ago I saw a group of DC players chase another DC player and make fun of him because he was a V14 and all of them were still V2 and these were grown man at least in their 30 and 40 Barratting a player for playing a game he Enjoys its craz and being able to Max out his character.Why would you hate on someone for that it makes no sense to me.

Another Example I was with my PVP guild and I was apart of my usually group the group with our GL in it and a few of us were turning in a bounty Quest and we saw one of our guild members at the wayshrine.He is a funny dude and just like to PvP he basically lives their we caught this man sleeping in a keep before. Back to my point so a few of us went to area chat to talk to him and ask if he wants to join the main group or if he is already in a group.I told him our Guild leader was running the group and he wanted him to join.I said our Guild leaders name in area chat and me and my Fellow group mates were yelled at told we suck and other words I can not say on the forums.So our Guild leader came to talk to their leader and ask him what his problem was and that their no need to talk that way to his guild members.He grow enraged and started yelling words a sailor wouldn't even say it was ridiculous.

.So I most ask again why is there so much hate between DC players and Leaders.Why can't we all just work together and fight against EP and AD.

Sorry if their any grammar mistakes am using my phone and this is something that been bugging me.So if someone has a answer or a opinion why this is a case please share.

That just sounds...unpleasant to say the least.
On PC we have some hate going on altho we do manage to work together sometimes but that stuff is mostly in Zone chat, which you can just turn off if needed.
Never heard of someone being chased around but that's probably because we can whisper them lol.

really sad story and stupid behaving of your fraction leaders.

But I guess its not just related to DC fraction and not only for pvp aspects. From my point of view it is more related to the consoles and their player base.

Even if I am earning some hate now let me tell you my experience:
I faced nearly same childish behavior in our Facebook groups related to fraction wide and partially console wide (xbox + ps4 together) related to trading guilds.

Usually each and everybody should be interested to make some trades and get in touch to some other players on their related systems to make some money.

But some (or better to say a lot) people are behaving like small crybabies and idiots ... and mainly this kind of behavior is coming from young console - heros who never got in touch with MMO based games. Of course MMOs might be a totally strange experience for them and they might be not used to communicate and socialize due to the lack of experience.

But let me say just this: MMOs are not single player games and finally you will always meet twice and people will remember and not forget! The sad thing is exactly this people are running to forums afterwards to cry and complain!

As I said this are just my thoughts about the community of xbox and ps4. I already played ESO nearly a year on pc and I never faced this hard time to find some nice and kind people to trade or play with

I hope some smart people show up in DC pvp to have some serious fun with the game and not *** chatting about each other!

I have never had this experience...in PvP we all work together in separate groups and it works out good (the other night it was like 4 guilds are working together)
might have just been a bad night bud.

Nope, these studies have been done by a very select selection of people being ask questions.

@Jaronking stick in there, over time a bulk of these people will lose interest and move on. Sounds a lot like Stonefalls on PC/NA, I'm past being shocked what someone might say there, but by the time you get to Shadowfen (2 maps later) you rarely see a peep of ignorance.

The more atrocious ones, report them and let ZOS/Xbox (report to both) deal with it and be on your way. I hate to say the most common denominator is the age factor but like @chris.vo.treb17_ESO said I've seen the change in my facebook groups as well since console launch. While the age/maturity level isn't a catch all, it explains it for most.

It will get better as the next big title comes out and they move along, just keep your chin up, try to play with like-minded players and keep slogging on. I wish I had better advice, but I promise it will get better.

I wished that was the cased but it happened every since we joined this campaign last Monday.We just joined Chillrend because of the long wait time to get into our last campaign. It was a EP Buff server our Guild was the first one to really push the EP their and help make it competitive. Now all we get is hate.From the other group leaders it makes no sense.I would think they would be thankful that we help them and help bring this campaign into a proper PVP campaign and not just EP killing us at our Gate.

Maybe we should just find a new campaign with no wait time.

I am quite proud off my accurate protrayal of kids on consoles, and my point about the people interviewed making the old "average age of player = 30" number meaningless is true.

The op has met up with the same trash you find at the start of any game. They are the lower echelons of gamers. They will be gone in a month of so when the next shiny comes out (or they realise they are not that l33t)


The same happened on PC (in most games). Those left after a few months are generally less prone to being ***

As far as OP's experience, the types of people you've run into really like it when they get a reaction out of you. Your guild leader is probably a nice guy, but should have just ignored the asinine comments. Brush it off. If you are confident, you don't have to worry about a thing they say. I haven't done PVP yet here, but it sounds like there are enough players running around that you can just find others who aren't trying to be jerks.
And don't worry--they don't check make all the jerks buy a certain gaming system; there are plenty of jerks to spare all around for every type of gaming system.

Dc leaders on PC were combative/uncooperative for a while, but we finally got our *** together and won a campaign because of it.

Oh btw its not just your alliance. In my alliance, our guild is having people create other guilds mocking it, calling it stupid, i even saw "insertguildname"isjimmysaville. They then claim the resources around the keep we have claimed.

People are childish/rude/pathetic when hidden behind the internet (that goes for pc & consoles, hell even the forums). Yeah it would be great if you could all work together and conquer all, unfortunately everybody has to have the biggest **** in the playground.

The thing is, that on consoles the guild leaders are mostly PC transfers, so they think they know everything. They can't be questioned because they already know everything, and anyone that disagrees is stupid. Everything they say is strategically we should do this, strategically we need to go here, **** gets old. Everyone thinks they are General Patton. That's my experience anyways.

And you want one better, I play X1 for DC too. Our guild leader told everyone to play PvE or gank, because a leader of a guild we don't see eye to eye with, was making a hard push for emperor......I mean how childish is that.

Ive seen this sort of immature behavior on NA PS4 Server. Was in Riften yesterday trying to break down some items when a guy started arguing with another that was trying to recruit some new members. The guy that started the fight started claiming he was promoting everyone he was inviting to high positions in the guild. And that the other guy, the one originally recruiting, couldnt 'do that'. The guy literally spent 10 minutes screaming at the recruiter.

Theres always garbage in public chat. But because of it being on Area VOIP its a lot worse for Console Players.

Yea DC on PC was this way for a long time. Now most of the guilds running at least respect each other and do some of the times work together. This took only like a year and 2 months to accomplish. Thing of it like politics with a bunch of people who have different agendas and you need to find out how to convinvce these guys how to follow you. Good luck takes a few strong and dedicated leaders to make it happen.

While I agree with you statement even my Guild leader played PC but he was to late to bring his character over and he helps out the players that are new and give us build advice.I'll admit he does act like he k

So all are not bad even if we don't see eye to eye with another guild we will still help them take a keep or if they all wiped we still come in and raise them.I know one time a group leader told everyone to ran pass Bleakers and go straight for Chalman in theory that works fine but we had players scouting Bleakers and their were about 20-50 EP in the Outpost waiting for us to come and attack it.So our GL told them that and they cursed us out and said we don't know what we are talking about and they ran to Chalman. Alot of their group got ganked and we had to take Bleakers from about 30-40 EP it wasn't a fun experience especially since they took a while to Flag Chalman.After we took Bleakers and we went to go finally flag Chalman and we basically took it they got back while we were rushing the second flag and afterwards he cursed us out and said his guild took it..

Hopefully one they can grow up or at least allow us to work together.
