Help please, Glenumbra Gargoyle boss...

Hi, I'm attempting an achievement I seem to have missed but I can't seem to find or trigger Menhir Stoneskin, a gargoyle at Valewatch Tower in Glenumbra.
There's a stone statue of one in the water but it was so long ago that I was here (lvl.7?, now VR1) that I don't know what happened here.
Any tips?... it's a 5 point achievement in Exploration.

    I don't remember ever having to do anything special to get this world boss to trigger. You probably just need to wait for it to spawn.

    Okay, this is confusing...the tower in Glenumbra is called Valewatch and has a gargoyle beside it.
    Also, (probably intended) a few of the additional achievements for the various alliances lands are outside of a region category and also don't list location so that's been a problem - especially with an error as big as a mis-name on the map!

    It appears there are two of them.

    But only the one in Rivenspire has the Gargoyle Boss just outside.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Oooooh, that explains it. So you were at the wrong Valewatch Tower without having any way of knowing it... Yeah, the Gargoyle you're looking for is definitely in Rivenspire, and I'm pretty sure one of the 2 Valewatches is named incorrectly on the map (I don't believe they meant to have 2 towers with the same name - especially not within the same alliance!)

    It's a bug. The tower in Rivenspire is supposed to be called Valeguard Tower, and that's where the gargoyle is.
