Craglorn VR help, idk what to do :/

So I finally get to craglorn at VR9 only to find everything is group locked and the only people in Craglorn are either grinding mobs or only gathering mats. I play on console (PS4) so I cant merely zone chat asking for a group. I tried to solo a group delve, only to find a giant dwemer spider (that would surely kill me instantly lol). I snuck passed it and was going to just grind the mobs in the delve but they didnt respawn, didnt drop loot, or didnt give xp (that i noticed) so I am stuck on how I am to get to VR14?

Am I too just find fast spawning groups to grind out the rest of my 4-5 levels in craglorn map or the last cadwells gold zone??

Right now I made an alt and am leveling them up for now, but would really love to finish my main.

any REAL help would be happily taken :D

Thanks much!

craglorn is better with groups. I'd go to the gold zone and grind mobs or go to cyrodiil in delves. If you're on AD NA server message me i'll run craglorn with you.

Sounds like you've been playing solo to this point, so yes, this is where it gets sticky esp if you don't have a group of friends or a guild to do Crag with.

The intent was, Cadwell's would get you to VR10, Lower Crag to VR12 and Upper to about VR14. Unfortunately the Crag XP got nerfed to the point that's not reasonably feasible anymore. Reality is, you're probably going to have to do some grinding, work on your build to be able to solo at least some Crag stuff and/or pvp to get there.

The good news is, XP is going to be getting raised a bit soon, (altho not to the levels we had before) and XP requirements to level Vet dropped a bit. Still, Craglorn was never intended to be a zone for soloers.

I'd recommend finding a good guild (we have guild forums at the bottom of the main page here) or learning to love grinding and get some XP pots to help you out. When you can't stand it anymore, work on that alt.

Wish I could help more but there's a reason my next VR is still sitting at VR1.

thanks much, im new to grinding but i do know the faster they die the better as it equals more xp gain in the long run. idk what areas are "nerf'd" to giving xp, but im thinking public delves in the last gold zone possibly the "group" delve the cave icon not the torch icon would be good since its packed full of mobs in large groups. and what i noticed the cave icon delve seem to be pretty deserted compared to over world grind spots ive noticed around my questing that have like 8+ people running around being silly nilly

I don't find it that hard to find a group in Craglorn anymore. A few weeks ago no one would quest through it, so I made a guild to try and help people find groups for the content. Now, whenever I'm in Belkarth, I constantly see people looking for groups.

The way to do Craglorn is to not search for specific quests, certainly not specific stages of a specific quest, but to look for a general group for Craglorn questing, lower or upper. Once you find a group, talk to your group about who needs to do what.

Unfortunately, the current XP reward doesn't pay out enough for the time it takes to find a group, find a group in the same quests phases, and complete the quests/delves. So most don't bother with Crag and go grind. Shame because there are some fun quests and delves there.

Easier said than done with no text chat. I will just grind it out in The Rift. It will be a million times easier than waiting in the town hoping someone wants to group.

I probably should have asked which platform you're on. On console I can imagine it is MUCH harder to find a group for Craglorn without the LFG working too well. By the way, how does it perform since the patch this week?

The patches this week were very small, but there were supposed fixes to the LFG tool in it, if I'm remembering the patch notes correctly.

    Sorry for bumping this.

OK so I went back to the Rift and started grinding sabercats with like 7 other people doing the same. But I have to admit that was extremely boring and just a huge hassle as new people showed up and ruined the grind circle and made things more troublesome.

So I went back to craglorn and did a group quezt to break into a city and close these portals and kill 3 major 3 bar bosses. That was just as much a hassle since it took so long to do solo.

Now my real question is this, what else is there to do besides grind for days on fast respawning mobs or try and solo craglorn to get me to gain those last 4 vr levels?
