I wouldn't mind seeing this (like the whole character creation reactivated via a crown purchase) on a MASSIVE cooldown, so people don't bounce races like flavor of the month. I mean, we're talking once every 3, 6 or even 12 months kind of thing.

I think this would be a good option to make money for ZoS and fit well with the crown store. I have traditionally not been a fan of microtransactions in a game but their model is the best I've seen so far in an MMO with an optional subscription.

The fact that ZOS changed so much about racial passives and continues to do so makes having such an option absolutely necessary. Couple the ongoing racial changes with the increased VR cap and leveling an alt takes far too long. I understand the importance of not letting players do this for free but balance changes do make this option necessary as having a character with hundreds (thousands?) of hours be affected by a change is disheartening. Better to give players the option and give them something useful to spend their crowns on.

As for having a cooldown period, who cares? You won't be able to change class and races have no skills so how does this drastically affect anything? You're telling me that a 9% regeneration bonus somehow breaks the game? Let ZoS make tons of money from these players.

Don't think they should allow race changes, just add a barber shop to mess with your chapter again.......facial hair, tatts, voice, height, and things like that

Yes I really wish they would add this. I do not see the downside. It doesn't affect other people negatively.

I don't believe it should be a crown store item, but maybe it should be a reward for playing the game a while. Not going to mention the name of another game, but they give out an item that allows you to change race or appearance, but you have to work hard to get it.

I agree with a barber shop idea more than a race change. As soon as they implement this be prepared to just see roaming hordes of "fotm" races. It would be silly. Just like there should never be an option to change classes. The way it is at the moment either makes people make do with what they are given or god forbid they actually pick a race/ class out of preference and 'fun'.

I agree, skills/ abilities that are nerfed can make a massive difference to how you perform but I have never heard of a races racials being nerfed so much it would warrent a race change, they are not strong enough and are easily over shadowed by gear.

1.7 will make regeneration far more necessary since every fight will take twice as long. The no stamina regeneration while blocking also matters. It would be nice to play for fun, but IC changes everything since your weakness(es) can now cost you quite a lot of effort. Regardless, this would be a viable crown sink that has no negative downside for other players and just saves time spent grinding.
