Its called bait..just like hunting any thing...you bait them in .wait for it..wait for it...then Kill the kill the targets you lead to the bait[/quote]
The PvE dungeons are probably added to give PvE players at least some incentive to pay ZOS money. Whether you think it is worth the money is entirely up to you.

The prudent thing to do would be to release Orsinium FIRST since it will take little tweaking etc to deal with. IC is going to be one huge complaintfest. Everyone crying about how this class is OP and that class is OP etc. They could spend 20 years trying to balance pvp and they will still complain about it. The level cap increase should come with a PVP AND a PVE zone so everyone can be happy. Instead the only focus is on PVP like somehow they will get these guys to spend money again.

If you watch the E3 footage from Bethesda it states that Imperial City, Orsinium and the Dark Brotherhood are coming this year.

Personally I think Orsinium will be a holiday thing with Dark Brotherhood between then and now, but if Bethesda/ZOS stick to what they say then no, you won't have to wait too long!

Remember Imperial City is being released in just over a month on live servers (August 31st.) after a month or so of PTS testing so it will be fairly good "out of the box", as it were.

Don't fret @jamesharv2005ub17_ESO, as a fellow PvEer I am anxiously waiting for Orsinium but it won't be much longer, this year! :).

They also said they're removing veteran ranks.. if you believe promises made by ZOS at this point I've got Oceanside property in North Dakota for sale, are you interested?

First they have to destroy the justice system by introducing open pvp across the PVE zones as well. So yet another feature only the best at pvp will be able to enjoy.

I'm actually for the PVP side of the justice system, provided the level of bounty required before you can become a target is pretty high (higher than it takes to be KoS to the guards). It'd be pretty much voluntary.as while yes you may accidentally get a small bounty trying to talk to someone who moves and suddenly you grab an item instead but they bounty won't be high enough to make you a pvp target.. Its also a system where you can attack someone with a high bounty as they're an outlaw, but they can't attack you, and even if you die, I don't think you'll lose anything cept a soulstone you might choose to res with,, or going back to the nearest wayshrine which, distances in pve are much shorter than distances in cyrodiil so it wouldn't be a big deal. You die in Cyrodiil it might be a 10 minute ride while sprinting back to where you were or more.

Of course they could jack it up completely, this is ZOS we're talking about here, they manage to not only not remove VR's as promised, but add more of them, with the only new content being in the PVP zone, so they could continue making horrible design decisions and make the PVP half of the Justice system unfun and unfair, like making it so that outlaws can attack other players who haven't attacked them first and take 100% of the gold their victims have on hand, with one particular raspy voiced developer with a smug grin on his face honestly believing himself when he says it's a fair and fun thing because it increases the killer's bounty by a multiplier of 10 and adds risk to PVE in the game which makes it exciting....

Then tun around and say Spellcrafting will be 3000 crowns and more powerful than any of the class, or weapon abilities (making it actual P2W)

I mean this is ZOS we're talking about. I won't put any bad decision past them at this point.

I really think sinceit has been out a year and PC people are content starved which i can agree with them...

Zos should do some thing like each month realease a new open wold dungeon with a quest in it..heck charge $5.
they could start in the 1-10 zone and move up a zone each month just pick a spot on the map put a house with a trap door and dungeon inside they could even make it the same in each zone since a month isnt a long time

Haha. Releasing new content every 4 to 6 weeks was actually ZOS' original sales proposition when ESO released. They failed to live up to their commitment in a glorious fashion.

Im not saying PVP should not have updates. This update should have something for both. Why not award stones based on how many players you kill instead of robbing other players of their loot? If its true they are interested in pvp and not just killing people ill equipped to fight back that shouldnt be a problem. Thing is they dont want pvp. They want people they can easily kill. Right now they are forced to fight people with skill and equipment to beat them. After IC they wont have to worry about people being able to fight them back.

lol pvp on the back burner since when? Every update since the first one has been centered around pvp balance. Adding things to cyrodill. nerfing things in cyrodill. PVP has had all the attention. Its hilarious they still insist the devs havent touched pvp since the beginning.

No wonder paul sage quit. He sees the ship sinking and got off before it went under.

Personally I would like to know how they plan to introduce anything new PVE.
I mean Imperial City is fine because it's PvP which fits lore, 3 factions together??? oh hell no, *** is gonna happen.
Now same 3 factions all visit Orsinium and play nice together??? I don't think so.....

Also I'm pretty sure Orsinium will be here for Christmas. And also do consider the amount of this game that can be done as a solo PVE player versus the amount of PVP and group content. It far outweighs both. PVP needed a bit of love. PVE love will come again . . . Soon.

I am curious the powers that be claim the imperial city add on is ONLY for PVP people. So I am wondering its been since launch that the PVE crowd has had anything other than stuff requiring groups. Craglorn and upper craglorn were aimed at hardcores. IC is aimed at hardcores. So I am wondering ZOS should all us people who enjoy the game outside of hardcore stuff just find something else to do until next year?

I know the next 6 months minimum will be spent first testing IC. Then launching it. Then the months of "balance" that will be required because of the hard to please PVP crowd and the outcry they will have against the FOTM builds. Then probably more game systems updates revamps etc. So are we looking at late 2016 for orsinium?

this is an MMO so how do you get the idea that solo content is anywhere on their priority list?

Every single zone has something for both the solo casual player and the group oriented player. Even Cyrodill has this. Yet all the new zones are group only and IC is for pvp groups only. MMO doesnt mean you have to allow player looting and rampant sociopathic behavior. Ive played through all of the cadwell stuff and I never had to group up even once. I did group up but I was not forced to do so. So why did the entire game have these options but none of the updates since launch?

And how long has it been since there was anything new to do in PVP here since release besides Zerg groups? Now, don't get me wrong I love PVE content more than PVP. But Imperial City has been a long time coming too.

The problem here isn't the fact that PVE is being ignored. The problem here is that all new content has been long delayed. And whilst I am looking forward to Orsinium as much as anyone (also looking forward to Imperial City) filling every thread with hatred towards PVP people won't make Orsinium come any faster.

Don't you already have a complaint thread? Why are you starting another one? I'm rarely here and I already understand you hate IC. I think everyone understands that. It's really simple. If you have nothing left to do until Orsinium, then just stop playing. They will send an email when Orsinium is ready and you can play then. Or not. I understand being upset about developments and talking about them on the forum, but you are on a rampage.

ETA: What is this "everything has been for PvP" line? Craglorn was PvE. You can't fight players in Craglorn. You have to group with players unless you are a high-level player, but even then, there are things that require group participation. But you don't fight players there.

while your statement has some truth to it....in the end this is a bad way of looking at things in
    ESO.

In my experience the HardCore crowd tend to be elitists and purists and as such will never spend a cent they don't have to quoting things like broken promises and immersion for their reasons not to spend any money on a game they like...

I think the real problem isn't that IC is for PVP'ers, had they announced they were bringing out the PVE content first, the other side would be peeved. Vise versa. The real problem is the fact that we ALL have waited... and waited and bloody waited and we are all so friggin tired of waiting. The entire community is STARVING for content.

The other issues aren't really issues. Patches have been for both sides since launch man. I have news! Patches AREN'T content! LOL! Balancing, granting more xp, less xp blah blah blah, all just tweaks for the game, not content.

We shouldn't be fighting and arguing with each other, no matter what side you are on, we have ALL been neglected.
