Survivability as a dual wield NB

I am an archer and thinking of change to DW, but i am afraid that i will have harder times with survivability in close range... Any DW would tell me about it?
Is it shadow barrier passive enough?

I will not use 2h... One bar for single target and one for multi... Both dual daggers.

    Then use Reaper's Mark and Killer's Blade extensively. take on groups. use target priotisation, kill off the weakest first as usual. Single target use Killer's Blade, aoe use Reaper's Mark.

    Shadow barrier is alright but you need to use it constantly and all it does is extra armor, not a damage shield.

    personally i use Shadowy Disguise, Ambush, Flurry or Rending Slashes, Double Take and Killer's Blade for single target. IT doesnt have the increased weapon damage that you want though you can change Double take for Evil Hunter but i prefer Double take for the dodge chance and the speed boost. Rending Slashes for spam since it is higher damage output then flurry but you might wanna try the cloak - surprise attack combo for constant lockdown and shadow barrier.

    Aoe is much simpler. Steel Tornado - Sap Essence - Reaper's Mark - Ambush - (utility skill). SAp essence for weapon buff and some spot healing, Steel tornado for spam, Ambush as gap closer and also empower. the utility skill is up to you, sometimes i use Crippling Grasp to hold the runners down while i ST down the rest. you can also use Quick Cloak for speed and aoe protection (though its not really viable and useful to your build other than the speed boost which Crippling Grasp will give as well.

    I personally feel that Double take should have been a shadow ability, in exchange with fear but thats my opinion.

    I play the same way, dual wielding only, albeit I only use one bar for combat, the other is more utility (soul catching).

    I craft all gear myself, 5 medium armour with the 'death wind' for a lot of extra health, armour and the knockback effect if things go awry.
    I craft 2 heavy armour and my dual weapons with 'night's silence' for extra stamina and stamina regen.

    I mix it up with reinforced traits and 50/50 stamina/health glyphs.

    Magica/health/stamina so far is 5/15/20 (will focus on health from now on)

    Skill-wise I use strife -> swallow soul for health regen when fighting from 2 enemies or more (this also add to health recieved from all sources - IMO also health bufff). It's actually a good ranged attack!

    Reapers mark is excellent when things get hairy or you're fighting mixed enemies melee+ranged, I usually cast reapers mark on the melee that I'm focusing on so that when he's down, my health is back in full. The debuff is extremely good, and helps to mitigate boss effectivenes towards you.

    When fighting multiple enemies or bosses, I cast blur -> double take, for 30% miss chance, this enhances the effect from reapers mark and gives a lot to keep me going when soloing bosses.

    Combat skills are teleport strike -> lotus fan for initial AOE and DOT (seldom used), and my bread and butter is flurry -> rapid strikes, which reaps enemies in all forms with a small stamina cost (high dps when morphed, and excellent range that makes it viable even when standing just outside most bosses AOE attacks).

    I did use the morphed killers blade, but don't have bar space for it, and it's redundant with this build. Dps is too low and stamina cost too high

    Ohh and when you go on a thieving rampage (if that's your thing?); steal bread when ever possible and get a good health buff before every encounter
