Does the the game ever get challenging?

DarthSeverus394
I rolled my main as a templar. What is said to be a broken class in every role but healing. Ive gone through the pve storyline now and the dungeons along the way soloing as a tank build. This is far from perfected and is about as simple as it gets. Groups 2 to 3 levels above me melt away and even I know my dps is watered down because I focus on survivability and rarely drop below 75% health. Puncturing sweep, blazing spear, breath of life, rune focus or sun shield (havent morphed either), unstoppable (dont even know if those 2 buffs stack) and my ultimate is empowering sweep cuz its cheap and effective aoe at only 75 ultimate. Armor 5 heavy 1 med 1 light using sword and board. Literally dont touch my second weapon setup cuz I dont need to. (Its a heal build for grouping) I use only this one build and the game is so easy my friends play and just press the buttons in order and are good. If this is the case with a "broken" class please tell me the game gets tougher in the veteran content. This isnt geared to be a complaint because I very much enjoy this game im just looking for more of a challenge. Any templars or experienced players feel free to share some wisdom and offer any advice or help you can about this or just any comments about it really. A little surprised by how trivial the initial playthrough has been and genuinely dont know how people have trouble in this game unless it gets tougher, which I hope it does.

Hello, Im the guy who complains about this game being to easy and i have come to say that it does get challenging*

*challenging in vet dungeons and trials until you learn fights and mechanics. then everything is faceroll.... Also, currently, the more CP you get the easier things get. But when is that not the case?
This one has an eloquent and well thought out response to tha... Ooh sweetroll!

The game has to be easy for good builds, because otherwise people with lower build-creating skills won't be able to play it. For people who have mastered the PvE content, there is always PvP, that never gets easy since you compete with other players.

If it's too easy then respec attribute points and only add back half or so

Try doing a few vet level pledges. The way the game is you can pretty much walk through 1-50 but when you hit mid-ish vet levels the difficulty starts to get higher, unless you have a good group that understands the mechanics the vet pledges will still be hard.

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

Facing 5 in public dungeons or three archer groups can be very challenging especially when they all casters and archers spreading out makes most templar abilities useless. Templar abilities rely on the npcs grouping up.

Yes I agree, which is why im kinda glad I rolled templar. With no real aoe snare it makes them the most difficult tank to keep aggro imo. Makes it tough and makes you really think about your builds and get good with the game.

I find the game extremely difficult and challenging. Take the weapon swap lock for instance. Every time you fire a skill, weapon bars will get locked for a short period of time. If you press weapon swap very quickly afterwards, weapons will swap before the lock activates. If you swap quickly, the lock will be active and weapons will not swap. If you press it slowly, weapons will swap, because the lock will be unlocked again by that point.
So, timing is very difficult, to the point that what bar will be active is practically random.

Vet dungeons will be tough at first, but as you adapt they'll be easier.

The hard part for a healer is keeping your group alive.
