If you're using a Bow, I'm assuming you're going for a stamina build, correct? If so, you'll primarily be using Bow skills on your bar, with perhaps a few NB skills such as Shadowy Disguise and Reaper's Mark. Medium armor is a stamina build's best friend. You'll also want most of your attribute points in stamina. Choose a Mundus stone that either increases weapon damage, weapon critical chance, or weapon critical damage (the Warrior, the Thief, or the Shadow, respectively). Try to get those three stats as high as possible, especially the critical damage/chance.

For Bow, here are a few skills to look into:

Snipe, either morph-- a favorite amongst bow users. The Focused Aim morph might be more beneficial.

Poison Arrow, either morph-- Venom Arrow morph is really nice for that ranged interrupt, but Poison Injection might be better for PvP.

Volley, morph to Scorched Earth-- a situational skill. Nice ApE, but often requires kiting of enemies to get them to stay within radius

Scatter Shot, morph to Magnum Shot-- excellent for putting distance between you and a rushing enemy

Arrow Spray, morph to Bombard-- AoE that causes enemies to become immobilized for a few seconds. Very nice skill. Prefer this morph over other one.

Expert Hunter, morph to Evil Hunter-- increases critical chance, Fighters Guild skill tree

That should get you started. For NB skills, Shadowy Disguise, Grim Focus, and Reaper's Mark are worth trying out.

    Hope that helps
